Every title accorded to Jesus, reveals another *facet* (detail, dimension ) of his true identity! From these titles we can create a profile of the person called *"Jesus"* and you will be surprised to know that no man born on earth has been described in so many ways! To start with, He was called:

SON OF GOD.

God has never been addressed as *"Father",* in the old testament by any until Jesus addressed God as his own Father in the new testament, being the Only begotten of God, unlike angels and humans who were created by God. That's why his parents didn't understand when he said to them: *'"Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand what he was saying to them.'* - (Luke 2:49) In the book of Genesis, the Triune God of creation is referred to as *"Ĕlōhim"* (the plural of Ĕlōah; is a Hebrew word meaning "gods" or "godhood" and the ending *-im* in Hebrew normally indicates a masculine plural. Although the word is grammatically plural, it is used in a singular sense in the Hebrew Bible to refer to a single deity, particularly the God of Israel) and not as *"Father"* (Hebrew: *Āb* means Father; Of Aramaic origin, Abba parallels the Hebrew word 'av' from where Abba, or “father,” is derived) because there was no Father head in the Trinity during creation until Jesus was conceived in the womb of Mary, when the seed of God, which is the Word of God, fused with the seed of the woman and became a man with the eternal spirit of the second person of the Trinity indwelling in that body. When this happened, the first person of the Trinity became the Father and the second person of the Trinity became the Son. *"You are my Son; today I have become your Father* (Hebrew: *yālad* means to give birth to, have a child, become the father of). - (Psalm 2:7) And the third person of the Trinity identified with Motherhood as he enabled Mary birth the Son of God and raise him up, just as Mary was told by angel Gabriel: *"The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God."* - (Luke 1:35)

For many its unimaginable that God could begat a Son but as Angel Gabriel said: *"Nothing is impossible with God!*- (Luke 1:37) Or even if they do believe that God has a Son, its still incomprehensible how the Son of God existed with God from the beginning, as stated in Scripture: *'In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. HE was with God in the beginning.'* - (John 1:1) Or even if they believe Jesus is God's Son and that he existed with God before creation, they still do not believe in the deity of Jesus, like the Jehovah's Witnesses who teach that he was created before the angels were created and was set apart to be the Son of God but Scripture says of Jesus: *'Who, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be grasped but made himself nothing ... being made in human likeness ...'* (Philipians 2:6-7) Jesus was not given *godhood* ( the state or quality of being a god; divinity) but was God even before he became the Son of God! None of the angels existed in the spirit before they were created but Jesus existed in spirit before creation itself being the creator himself! Infact when ,*angels* (Hebrew: *bēn ha Elōhîm,* literally meaning *"sons of the Elohim"*) who were created by God are called *"sons of God"* - (Genesis 6:1, Job 1:6), Jesus is referred to by John as *'"God the One and Only"* or *"the Only begotten"* (Greek: *monogenēs* means *one and only, unique* ) *who is at the Father's side.'* - (John 1:18). The uniqueness of Jesus is that *He is the Only begotten of God* over creation while all the rest were created! In other words, He was born of God and not created by God whereas we were created by God and now born of him! *'He is the image of the invisible God, "firstborn" over all creation.'* - (Colossians 1:15)

To believe that Jesus is the Son of God implies that his testimony is true (John 8:14) and all his words can be trusted. He said to Mary Magdalene after his resurrection: *"Go to my BROTHERS and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"* - (John 20:17) *'Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.'* - (Hebrews 2:11) Though we are not begotten of God, we too have been born of God by his Word, just as Jesus did! Infact, the Church could be called God's *"second born"!* We became *'children of God - children born not of natural descent ... but born of God'* - (John 1:12-13) And we too have received the spirit of sonship as Jesus did and can now address God as *"Abba"* or Father. *'We received the Spirit of sonship and by him we cry "Abba, Father". The Spirit himself testifies with our spirits that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ ...'* (Romans 8:15-17) Godhead has become a family and his extended family is on earth! (Ephesians 3:15) And we have been *'predestined to be adopted as his sons'* (Ephesians 1:5) to become *'members of God's household'.* - (Ephesians 2:19) Hallelujah! Amen.
