"My Father who has given them to me is greater than all and no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one."(John 10:29-30) We were mindfully chosen by God and given over to Christ, who is so fiercely protective of his sheep. Who else can make such a daring statement but Jesus, because Satan is no match to snatch us from God's hands! 'What shall be say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who shall bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? Who is it that condemns? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?' (Romans 8:31-35) Convinced that there were none, Paul boldly declared, "I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(8:38-39) What is more assuring than Christ's bold contention, "I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."( John 10:28) Amen.
