When God proclaimed his name 'The LORD', as he passed in front of Moses, it was said of him: "He does not leave the guilty unpunished;..."(Exodus 34:6-7) Though human agencies fail to bring the wicked to justice, they will not escape from the justice of God. They might have escaped being condemned to a prison but will not escape from being condemned to hell. Jesus, whom the Father has appointed to judge the world, asked the Pharisees and teachers of the law, "How will you escape being condemned to hell?"(Matthew 23:33) It was said of him by the Prophet Isaiah: "Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations ... In faithfulness he will bring forth justice to victory, he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law, the nations will put their hope."(Isaiah 42:1-4, Matthew 12:17-21) Wickedness is on the rise world over because that is one of the signs of the endtimes. http://teachingofchrist.in/2020/08/10/seven-signs-of-the-end-times/
World governments will fail to maintain law and order and this failure seems like a setup for the Antichrist to come on to the world stage, as the false Messiah. But then 'I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war ... Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured and with him the false prophet ... The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.'(Revelation 19:11-21) Indeed Christ will lead justice to victory! 'Listen to me, my people ... The law will go out from me, my justice will become a light to the nations. My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way and my arm will bring justice to the nations.'(Isaiah 51:4-5) Come Lord Jesus. Maranatha! Amen.
